The chemical makeup of tallow resembles our own skins natural lipids and thus is bio-compatible with our skin. It's vital that the tallow is sourced properly, otherwise the benefits of this fat fail to materialize.

Aside from the numerous benefits of tallow both in food and skincare use, we've been using tallow for over a decade now in our offerings- this isn't a quick cash-grab or trendy product we hope to go viral. It's an honest practice with reverent care and devotion to the most healthful and nourishing skincare.

Often the culprit for inflammation and sensitization of the skin, pure Essential-Oils are volatile and can be cytotoxic when used topically. Our priority is restoration and nourishment of the natural skin barrier, which is why we opt out of the use of these mass-produced constituents and instead infuse our creations slowly with the entire herb and flower plant matter.

Our herbs and flowers are sourced in America & Europe from family farmers that pour their hearts into their practice. Our tallow is sourced from family farms in the mid-west that raise their cattle on green, open pastures.

This slow but intimate process ensures meticulous quality control and it's our honor to be able to support familial cultivation practices with regenerative farming standards. Better for your skin, better for the earth.

Our pricing reflects our quality. We understand there are many, many, tallow companies out there today. But we're not another "whipped tallow and essential-oil" company.

We carry a slow and intentional practice in our method creations. Our offerings begin with intentional ingredient sourcing. We work intimately with small, family farmers to ensure that the quality of our ingredients are of the highest possible standard.

From there, our offerings are meticulously formulated. We take into consideration alchemy and synergy, the way the herbs compliment each other, the intention and purpose of the final product, the fragrance, and the physical and meta-physical benefits. Once the performance and efficacy of our product has been established, they take weeks in production before they are ready to be offered. The butters and oils need time to properly and efficiently absorb the herbs and all their benefits -something that cannot be rushed and could never be replaced with a gimmicky short-cut (we're looking at you, essential oils...).

This is a stark contrast from buying (low quality) bulk tallow, cheap seed oils, & essential oils and whipping them together. This process would take a mere few minutes! But the performance and energetics would drastically change.

Our skincare isn't "trendy" and our practices are far from viriality. Our apothecary is a true art-form in it's own right and the prices of our offerings reflect this.
